The Department of Zoology, established in 1964, has a longstanding tradition of excellence in teaching and research. The department offers undergraduate B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology with research as per NEP guidelines 2020.The curriculum spans a wide range of subjects, including classical zoology, cell biology, Biochemistry, Animal physiology, ecology, genetics, immunology, Animal Behaviour and more. The Department has a single well-equipped laboratory, a Museum and a Research Lab. for practical learning in advanced research. The department has a highly skilled and enthusiastic faculty, offering students a well-rounded and research-focused education in the field of zoology.
