It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Physical Education at Government Degree College, Baramulla. Our department is committed to fostering a culture of health, wellness, and excellence through physical education, sports, and fitness.With a well-established infrastructure, including standard sports grounds, modern equipment, and a fully functional fitness centre, we aim to provide our students with the best possible environment to pursue their athletic and recreational interests. We believe that physical education is not just about games or fitness—it's a powerful medium to instill discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
